How To Root SM-J701F(100% tested method)

i).  Download root files here:

ii). Extract the rar file, you’ll find three files in there; recovery.tar, boo.tar and SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip

iii). Download odin3 from here

Procedures:

1.Make sure your Samsung device is Powered off completely, put your device in Download Mode by holding volume down+Home Key+Power Key altogether, release buttons only when the Warning!! message appears, Press Volume Up Button, to confirm that you wish to enter Download Mode.

2. Copy SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip file into your sd card or at the root of your device memory.

3. Connect device to computer and open odin3.exe  tool, click on AP and select recovery.tar, as well click on BL and select boot.tar and press START.

4. Once flashing is completed, reboot device into Recovery Mode by holding Volume Up Button+Home Key and Power Key altogether.

Note: “After U Enter Recovery, your Phone Will Show Black Screen
So Just Press Power Button 2 Or 3 Times To Turn On The Screen.”

5. Go to Wipe>Format and type yes to format your device in order to enable internal storage for successful rooting.

6. Next, go to Install, navigate to where you save your superuser.zip file on SD CARD or Internal Storage.

Note: If you save superuser.zip on SD CARD, locate EXTERNAL STORAGE, but if superuser.zip file is stored on device memory, locate sdcard.

7. Choose superuser.zip file and swipe your finger to the right to allow installation.

8. Once installation completes, reboot device, wait for device to boot up completely and enjoy!!!
