Samsung S8/S8 Plus(SM-G955F/D) PIT error, Odin Device initialization fail fixed.

Did you try flashing TWRP custom recovery on your Galaxy S8/S8+ and you get stuck on constant reboot with the dreaded Odin Pit error or device initialization fail?

This Tutorial is for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, meanwhile same procedures go for Galaxy S8.

Read below tips to get yourself out of the mess and get your Samsung Device fully recovered:

1. Download Odin3-v3.12.7, recommended for Samsung S8/S8+

2. Install Smart Switch to get adequate drivers installed on your computer.

3. Download this firmware Build below:

4. Get Original Type C USB CABLE for your samsung S8/S8+(Recommended for Best Result)

Let’s Begin With the following Tricks:

i. Attempt to put your device in Downloading Mode, by holding Bixby Button+Volume Down+Power Key.

ii. Once the Warning Message appears, quickly press volume down button[to attempt restart] and immediately hold again  Bixby Button+Volume Down+Power Key, as soon as the warning message appears the second time, PRESS Volume Up to finally enter Downloading Mode. You can refer to the screenshot below:

Note: You must do the above trick every time you want to flash with odin or any other supported tool(Highly Required)

iii. Once you’ve entered Downloading Mode the second time, connect your S8/S8+ to computer, and open Odin3-v3.12.7.

iv. Go to the folder you extracted your SM-G955F/d firmware, choose BL_G955FXXU1AQK7_CL12502677_QB15780981_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5, wait for Odin to load the file, then Press Start.

V. As soon as Odin finishes flashing the Bootloader file, reboot again into downloading mode by Bixby Button+Volume Down+Power Key, once the warning message appears, Press volume down to restart and immediately Press Bixby Button+Volume Down+Power Key, as the warning message appears the second time, continue with Volume Up button to enter Downloading Mode.

VI. Now this time, connect your device to computer and open odin, and go to AP and select this: AP_G955FXXU1AQK7_CL12502677_QB15780981_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.md5
